So why do we do this?  When I was 14 years old we had the lion by the tail.  Mom and dad had a huge house, the cars, the boats, the airplane and a thriving family company that was growing like crazy. 

In December I walked into the living room after school I told my dad that I loved him for the last time. A few seconds later he collapsed.  A massive aneurysm took his life.  Over the next 4 years, I watched as my father’s most trusted advisors stole everything from my mother and forced her to sell our 70-year-old family business for pennies on the dollar.  

We just about lost everything.  When you see your life almost collapse and then rise from the dust you have a different perspective.  I never want what happened to me to happen to anyone else, ever.
